Can not creat "First post"

When I use MySQL 4.1.x,everything goes well. But when I upgrade my database to MySQL 5.0.x,there can not creat the "First Post".The bug is out again. My english is so poor,hope you understand what I say.

That's probably something to do with the UTF collate bug that has been fixed. Are db tables created?

yes.The db table already created.And I can write new posts on the new blog.There just cann't create the "Hello world!" when I create a new blog.

Hmm, works for me with blogs created on the admin side via the site admin form but I noted on our test bed a first post without the content of the post in there made by a client. Using r1185 with the partial cache fix mentioned in the other thread.

Is the poster using the default "first post" or a custom one?

Replying to drmiketemp: Create the new blog via site admin and using the default "first post" setting.

I also tried to create new blog via frontground. And...same problems.
